Dear GUFC Members


To commemorate 20 Years of Gungahlin United FC, the club is running a competition to produce a new logo (Club Badge). In keeping with GUFC’s proud place as part of the Gungahlin community, it’s only fitting that the community have a say in designing the new face of the club!

The winning designer will be awarded a framed and fully signed GUFC First Grade jersey, complete with the new logo, as well as a $250 cash prize donated by GUFC Major Sponsor iNSTYLE Estate Agents!!

The winning logo will be used on all new official GUFC merchandise, playing gear and club communications.

The competition will run from Saturday 14th May 2016 through to the closing date of Friday 30th September 2016.

The logo (Club Badge) design:

Any logo that has similarities to any other club will not be considered for copy right reasons.
· It may be any shape

· MUST use the club colours (BLACK, WHITE and YELLOW)

· MUST contain the words GUNGAHLIN UNITED FC

· May incorporate the club nickname of ‘The Gunners’ (although not compulsory)

An All questions and submissions MUST be sent by email to competitions@gungahlinunitedfc.org.au and include:

o your full name, address, email address and contact phone number, and

o if under 18, your parent/guardian name and contact details.

The top ten designs, as chosen by the GUFC Executive Committee, will be put to a public vote.

The top 3 designs from the vote will be presented to the GUFC 20th Anniversary Dinner (in January 2017) and the winner announced on the night!

All 3 final designers will be invited to attend, with any entrants under the age of 18 accompanied by a parent or guardian).

GUFC Executive Committee Members and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
